After an serenade from the Wurlitzer pipe organ, the stage was set for a Q&A with Garry Maddox, from the Sydney Morning Herald interviewing Peter Weir. During the lively conversation, Peter Weir called out into the crowd - introducing some key figures present: Russell Boyd, Picnic’s cinematographer, Johnny Seale, the Camera Operator and actor John Jarratt - all of whom were met with great applause.
